¡Hola familia!
I am
here in Ghettoville mexico city. It has been a long day!! By the time i
got to my gate there were already ten missionaries there waiting for the
same flight. We ended up having about fifteen missionaries on the
flight to Atlanta, most of them were elders with a few sisters. Within
the first twenty minutes of the flight i had someone offer to buy me
coffee. It was a little unexpected because i came to learn that he is a
member from Idaho.. I guess they drink coffee up there?
I didnt have a layover in Atlanta at all. By the time I
got off the plane, through the subway and to my terminal, my flight was
already boarding! About half the flight was missionaries so i was able
to make quite a few new friends! Arriving in Mexico was overwhelming. I
didnt really know what to expect, but EVERTYHING is in Spanish! Who
knew? I feel like i am already behind because a lot of the elders
already know a lot of spanish. It is very humbling to say the least!
Most of the elders are cool, some of them are really weird and some of
them are tools, but i feel like i can get along with any of them. I
think my companions name is elder withers. It will be interesting to see
how we get along. He seems like a nice guy. The MTC is beautiful!!
Amazing. Its like a mansion in the middle of a bunch of ant farms.
Hopefully next time i will have pictures for you.
Thank you so much for all the support! I love you all so much! Prayers are always welcomed!
